How we met
In the summer of 2009, we both moved back home to Tulsa. Brad was getting ready to start his first semester of law school in the fall and I was preparing for the Oklahoma Bar Exam. I spent that summer as the volunteer coordinator for Dewdad's campaign for Tulsa Mayor. It was a Saturday morning in July and the campaign was in full-swing. Brad walked into campaign headquarters to volunteer placing signs and knock on doors all over Tulsa. We instantly felt a connection, although we didn't mention that to each-other at the time. Brad stayed on as a volunteer throughout the entire campaign, he says that "he first volunteered to get Dewey elected, and then his motivation changed to keep volunteering so he could spend time with me." After grueling primary and general elections, Dewdad was victorious, and we finally had time for us.
